What is BharatStey?
BharatStey (also written Bharat Stey) is a booking site for farmhouses, villas, resorts and hotels near Mumbai and Pune, run from an office in Badlapur. It also runs group trips and books local taxis from Badlapur.
How do I book a stay?
Open a stay, choose your dates and number of guests, and send the booking. Your account is verified once by SMS, WhatsApp or email. You get the confirmation on WhatsApp and email.
Are the stays checked?
Yes. Every property is reviewed by the BharatStey team before it goes live. Hosts who have shown their Aadhaar and one property document get a Verified Owner badge on their listing.
Is the price per night or per person?
Each stay shows its price basis on the card and on the stay page: most are priced per night for the whole property, some per person per night. The price is shown before you book.
Can I cancel, and will I get a refund?
Cancellation and refunds depend on the policy of the booking, which is shown during the booking process. Some bookings offer free cancellation within a stated period, some a partial refund, and some are non-refundable. Approved refunds go back through the original payment method where possible.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Guests follow the check-in and check-out times of each property. Early check-in and late check-out are not guaranteed and need the host's approval; extra charges may apply.
Do I need to show ID?
Guests may be asked for valid identification at check-in, as required by law and by the property.
Are pets, parties, smoking or alcohol allowed?
Only where the property allows it. Pets are allowed only when the property says so, parties and events only where specifically permitted, smoking only in marked areas, and alcohol only as the law and the property rules allow.
How many guests can stay?
Each stay page shows the maximum number of guests. That number must not be exceeded; extra guests may be refused or charged where the property allows them.
What if the payment was deducted but the booking was not confirmed?
Contact BharatStey with the transaction ID, the payment date and amount, and your registered email or mobile number, and we will look into it.

I own a farmhouse or villa. Can I list it?
Yes. Listing is free, with no monthly fee. Sign up as a host, add photos, your tariff and facilities, and our team verifies the property before it goes live.
